Day 1 : From Marrakech to Dades Gorges
Departure from Marrakech: You will begin your adventure with a morning departure from Marrakech, traveling across the High Atlas Mountains. The route is scenic, with dramatic views of valleys, Berber villages, and rocky landscapes.
Stop at Ait Benhaddou Kasbah: One of the first major stops is at Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This ancient fortified city has been a backdrop for many Hollywood films, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Wander around its winding alleys and admire its traditional earthen architecture, which has been wonderfully preserved.
Drive to Dades Valley: After visiting Ait Benhaddou, continue your drive to Dades Valley, passing through the oasis towns of Skoura and Kalaat M’Gouna (the Rose Valley), where roses bloom in spring, filling the air with fragrance. Arrive at your guesthouse or hotel in Dades Valley, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Day 2 : From the Dades Gorges to the Merzouga Desert
Morning Drive to Todra Gorge: After breakfast, your journey continues towards Todra Gorge, one of the most impressive natural sites in Morocco. The narrow canyon walls rise to over 300 meters and offer stunning photo opportunities.
Scenic Route to Merzouga: Continue along the scenic road to Merzouga, a small village located at the edge of the Sahara Desert. As you approach the desert, the landscape transforms into vast stretches of dunes.
Camel Trek to the Desert Camp: On arrival in Merzouga, you’ll be greeted by a team of camel handlers who will guide you on a camel trek into the desert. The journey lasts around 1.5 hours, taking you across the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, the highest dunes in Morocco.
Overnight in Desert Camp: Arriving at your desert camp, you’ll be welcomed with mint tea and snacks. The camp is equipped with traditional Berber tents, offering a unique, comfortable way to sleep under the stars. After a traditional Moroccan dinner, gather around the campfire for a night of music and storytelling.

Day 3 : Desert Exploration and Cultural Immersion

Explore the Desert: After sunrise, enjoy a traditional Berber breakfast in the camp. Then, set off for a day of exploration in the Sahara Desert. You can opt for a camel ride or a 4×4 excursion into the deeper desert. Visit local nomadic families, learn about their way of life, and get a glimpse into the history and culture of the desert.
Afternoon Relaxation or Camel Trek: If you prefer a more relaxed afternoon, enjoy the serene surroundings of the desert. Alternatively, you can take another camel ride or simply rest in the shade of your tent, surrounded by nothing but sand and sky.
Dinner & Entertainment: In the evening, enjoy a second night in the desert camp, with a traditional Moroccan tagine dinner. The night comes alive with the sounds of Berber music, and you may even have the opportunity to join in with local drumming and dancing around the fire.

Day 4 : Return to Marrakech
Morning Camel Ride Back to Merzouga: After breakfast, you will ride your camels back to the village of Merzouga, where your driver is waiting to take you back to Marrakech.
Drive Back to Marrakech: On the return journey, you will pass through beautiful towns and landscapes. Stop for lunch along the way and enjoy one last chance to capture the striking views of the Atlas Mountains and the vast desert landscape.
Arrive in Marrakech: Your journey concludes with a late afternoon arrival in Marrakech, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, depending on your schedule.
